Psychiatric Care Rooted in Compassion and Evidence
Personalized psychiatric treatment that honors your unique story and supports lasting transformation

Arlene has been caring for patients since 2003 as a nurse and, later, as a nurse practitioner. After years working as a nurse practitioner she witnessed firsthand how important it is to develop a treatment plan that centers around the whole patient. Her career in nursing led her to develop a passion for the treatment of mental health conditions, and she recently obtained her board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Arlene is also a Qualified Medical Provider and may provide a medical cannabis card if patients meet qualifying conditions set forth by the State of Utah.
The majority of Arlene's career has been spent helping patients who are often overlooked — those currently experiencing or facing homelessness, those with substance use or addiction issues, and those who are uninsured or underinsured. Arlene's philosophy is that we all deserve a chance at a happy life regardless of the resources we have. We all have the power to eliminate barriers in our lives, to get back up, and to keep going.
She is a proud mom and grandmother and loves spending time with her family above all things.
Our goal is to identify the symptoms you are experiencing, develop a treatment plan, and eliminate the barriers preventing you from living your best life. Your treatment plan will be created with your goals in mind — this is a treatment centered around you. We want it to be as convenient as possible and understand the demands on your time, so we offer both in-office visits in South Jordan and virtual visits, with appointments available on weekends and evenings.
Improving your own mental wellness is not a journey you need to navigate alone. Together we can explore approaches so your efforts lead to real improvement. We wanted to create a safe, comfortable, private space for you to share your most important thoughts and experiences — a place for you to be seen and heard. You're not a diagnosis. You're not a disease that needs to be treated. You're a person that deserves to be seen, with specific needs that need to be addressed so you can experience the best quality of life possible. We want to get to know you as that person and support you in all phases of your treatment and growth.
